To support the growth of the Brandon Valley School District, a 25,627-square-foot addition was constructed at the high school, expanding classroom space and providing new options for the district.
This addition features several new classrooms, including dedicated science labs and a life skills area. Specialty classrooms were also created to facilitate collaboration with Southeast Technical College in Sioux Falls. Additionally, the district worked with community partners to develop an indoor corridor with a cushioned floor for track and cross-country practice.
The project also addressed stormwater management issues, effectively reducing flooding in the onsite parking lot.
