The YWCA, located on the western side of Sioux Falls, includes a large daycare center and preschool, complete with 17 classrooms, large hallways to accommodate many children and a full kitchen to provide meals. Architecture Incorporated worked closely with the State of South Dakota to ensure that each classroom had the proper square footage required for the capacity of children and that the entire facility was designed to licensing requirements. The first adult daycare in Sioux Falls was also housed in the YWCA, as well as a large gymnasium that can be rented out to the public for events.
