USD Al Neuharth Media Center

The Al Neuharth Media Center project began as a study commissioned to Architecture Incorporated to house the Neuharth Freedom Forum, the USD Mass Communications Department, the Volante (Student Newspaper) and South Dakota Public Broadcasting in the existing Telecommunications building (New Armory) on the USD Campus. The study involved working with all of the future occupants of the building to meet their space needs for the future. In addition, we developed a major student concourse space, which slices through the building and opens up a major entrance to the building from the East. This creates an entrance to the building from the main campus green area. The exterior of the building was renovated with new windows, new roof and restored brick.
